Cottage Food Law

Canned goods are a seasonal item and generally available for purchase from May – December. They can be ordered right on this site but must be picked up in person or hand delivered. Shipping is not available.

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture does not allow for shipping of home canned goods; they must be hand delivered or bought directly from the maker of the product. To purchase my products, place your order over the internet, and then choose either hand delivery (a $5 fee applies, no minimum order) or pick the order up yourself. When your order is ready you will be contacted for a pick up time and location.  Please note hand delivery only applies to certain zip codes (generally speaking, the White Bear Lake and surrounding cities). If home delivery is an option for your zip code it will automatically pop up; otherwise you will need to pick up your order from me. You may pick up at my home in White Bear Lake or my  art studio in Oakdale, whichever is more convenient for you. I will provide my address when I notify you that your order is ready.

I do allow for back orders on my home canned goods. If you order a product and it shows on the checkout page as ‘available on back order’ the general processing time is 3 – 5 days.
